A young Aboriginal couple brings home their second baby. What should be a joyous time takes a sinister turn, as the baby’s mother starts seeing a malevolent spirit she is convinced is trying to take her baby.

Based upon the short film ‘The Moogai’ which won the Midnight Grand Jury Award at SXSW and Best Australian Short Film at the Melbourne International Film Festival.

The Moogai will have its international premiere as part of the Midnight section at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival.
